Andreea Roxana Deac
Founder. UK Legal Consultant. New York Attorney. Cross-Border Specialist.
Andreea's career started in accounting before it ever turned to law. Her first qualification was in Accounting through AAT (the Association of Accounting Technicians), which gave her the financial grounding that still shapes how Lexarox Legal looks at clients' situations today: legal, financial and commercial together, never one in isolation.
From there she moved into law full-time. She earned her LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from London Metropolitan University in 2017, followed by an LLM (Master of Laws) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from The University of Law in 2018, the standard UK route into qualified legal practice.
Rather than stop at the UK side, she chose to extend her practice across the Atlantic. After an intensive period studying US federal and New York state law under Barbri (the leading US bar review programme), she sat the New York Bar exam in 2022. The New York Bar is widely regarded as one of the hardest legal exams in the world. She passed, and in 2023 was formally admitted to practise as an attorney at law before the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
Since then, Andreea has built Lexarox Legal's cross-border consultancy practice, specialising in UK and US business law, tax planning and the proper application of the UK/US double-taxation treaty, alongside alternative dispute resolution work for clients on both sides of the Atlantic. She is also licensed by the Puerto Rico Hacienda (the territory's tax authority) as a tax specialist, which extends her practice into jurisdictions with their own tax incentives and treaty arrangements, often valuable for clients with US-territory operations or for those exploring favourable tax structures.
Since 2013, Andreea has advised businesses and individuals in the UK, with cross-border reach through her US qualifications, with cross-border reach through her US qualifications. Her work covers the full pre-court and out-of-court range a legal consultancy can offer: contracts, advisory work, letters and appeals, business law, employment matters, tax investigations and AML, alternative dispute resolution, US federal and immigration matters, and the everyday questions clients bring when they are not sure where else to turn. She is known for explaining things clearly, telling clients the truth even when it means less work for the firm, and treating small matters with the same care as large ones.
