Whether you are drafting a contract from scratch, reviewing one before you sign, or trying to understand what one really means, we will handle it - clearly, properly and at a fair price.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
What we draft and review.
Contracts come in many shapes. Here are the most common ones we work on:
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and confidentiality agreements
Shareholder agreements and partnership agreements
Terms and conditions for websites, products and services
Service-level agreements (SLAs)
Settlement agreements and severance terms
Director loan agreements and intercompany agreements
One-off agreements: licensing, IP assignment, equipment, accommodation, lending, anything bespoke
And other commercial and personal contracts on request
WHO THIS IS FOR
Who this is for.
Limited company owners who need to formalise a relationship with a supplier, customer, contractor, partner, or employee.
Founders setting up shareholder and director agreements at the right moment (early, not after a dispute).
Employees and consultants who have been handed a contract and want it reviewed before signing.
Individuals dealing with one-off agreements: a private loan, a property rental between family members, an IP licence, a service arrangement.
Anyone who has received a contract that does not sit right and wants a calm second opinion.
HOW IT WORKS
Our process.
01
Free 20-Minute Consultation
Tell us what you need. We will ask a few targeted questions and either give you a clear scope and quote, or refer you on if it is not our area.
02
Written scope and fixed quote
We send you a short proposal: what we will draft or review, how long it will take, and exactly what it will cost. No retainers, no surprises.
03
Drafting or review
We do the work. For drafting, you receive a clean version plus a short plain-English summary of the key clauses. For reviews, you receive an annotated copy with our comments and recommendations.
04
Walk-through call
We talk you through it on a 30-minute call, so you understand every clause and feel confident signing (or pushing back).
COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQs
We can draft a contract that complies with UK contract law and protects your position as well as the facts allow. Whether it would survive a particular dispute depends on facts that none of us can predict in advance. We are honest about that, every time.
Our fixed quote covers the drafting or review plus one round of revisions in response to comments from the other side. Further rounds are charged at an agreed hourly rate or as a small fixed add-on.
For US-law contracts, we work in conjunction with our New York attorney qualification on US federal and New York state matters. For other US states, we partner with US-qualified attorneys in the relevant jurisdiction.
Our team speaks English, Romanian, Spanish, Italian and Russian. Contracts can be drafted bilingually on request.
